Public Storage, with an annual net operating income of $3.5 billion, manages over 3,000 storage properties. The company embarked on an enterprise-wide ERP transformation to support its growth and replace legacy back-office systems. Previously, Public Storage relied on a highly customized system implemented over 25 years ago. To modernize, they selected SAP S/4HANA and engaged a Systems Integrator to guide development using SAP’s Activate methodology.

Inflective was engaged by the business to balance the system-centric implementation approach employed by the SI. Inflective led readiness and change preparedness efforts, which included communications, user workflow design, assessing change impacts, and preparing the organization for go-live. Utilizing the Assert™ methodology and supporting software, Inflective collaborated with key stakeholders to ensure the organization was fully prepared and confident in its readiness for the transition. Inflective also contributed to the planning and monitoring of program progress using elements of its advanced tool, Assert.

The project successfully transformed the business on schedule, enabling the company to scale and support its growth objectives.

With annual revenues of $1.2 Billion, Peet's Coffee & Tea is a San Francisco Bay Area-based specialty coffee roaster, distributor and retailer.

Project was an enterprise-wide business transformation enacted to support company growth and capitalize on insight gathered from various forms of data; the program included replacement of legacy technology and streamlining of business processes using Microsoft Dynamics.

After multiple years of disappointing progress, the Board of Directors directed the program leadership to engage Inflective to recover and deliver the program within the upcoming year.

Using the Assert method, Inflective consultants restructured the program and its resources to focus on purpose, clear accountabilities, and business priorities rather than just the mechanics of delivery. Key areas of focus included replanning the data preparation and migration process; improving test planning and execution, as well as operate the PMO.

Despite COVID, the project was delivered on schedule within the year and stabilized quickly to support the company growth and pending IPO.

York Risk Services Group provides claim related services including Third Party Administration (TPA), Managed Care, Medical Bill Review, and Specialized Loss Adjustments.

York embarked on a series of related projects to improve operational efficiency and drive bottom line results.

Inflective worked with the Steering Committee and project team members to formulate and execute the project plan and schedules. Conducted Lean Six Sigma workshops and implemented findings to yield performance gains.

Improved run rate productivity: Increased manager span of control; Increased subrogation recoveries; Reduced labor; Recaptured revenue leakage; and expedited delinquent collections.

With revenues of approximately $4.8 Billion, Juniper Networks designs, develops, and sells products and services so customers can build highly scalable, reliable, secure and cost-effective networks for their businesses.

A large-scale (700 team member) program to improve operational effectiveness across the entire value chain and geography using SAP was proving to be more difficult than anticipated with schedule slip in excess of a year. The systems integrator had been released, and the CIO had departed. There was not a clear “line of sight” to implementation depended on numerous subcontractors using various methods. Key business stakeholders had lost confidence in the program.

Inflective was engaged to review, recover, and lead the program working collaboratively with the other program leadership members.

Conducted a replan to derisk some of the program dependencies including data migration and testing, as well as cutover. Applied Infective's proprietary Assert method and software to drive program accountabilities, build stakeholder confidence and assess readiness and “get on the same page”.

Achieved on-time delivery of the program and stable operations at least 3 months earlier than prior trajectory.

CooperVision is a $2.6b revenue global manufacturer providing products for contact lens wearers. CooperVision develops, manufactures and markets a broad range of single-use, two week and monthly contact lenses, featuring advanced materials and optics.

CooperVision needed to improve its operational process effectiveness including the implementation of Oracle EBS globally.

Inflective was engaged to lead Readiness and Change Management activities including building stakeholder commitment and mitigating business exposure. This included working closely with the systems integrator and internal IT personnel.

Key impacted processes included Order to Cash, Inventory Management, Procure to Pay, and Finance and Accounting including Projects, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

World-recognized Aerospace and Defense leader had grown through acquisition over many years leaving redundant legacy systems and high technical debt.

Aiming to transform the business through technology, Aerojet Rocketdyne launched a large-scale initiative intended to implement new technology using Oracle E-Business Suite.

The transformation crossed the entire organization and was required to satisfy Defense Contractor Audit Agency (DCAA) control and traceability requirements.

Inflective was hired to co-lead the program and focus on the desired process standardization and development of instant insight from the resulting data.

Inflective worked across the program including data readiness and migration, process redesign, PMO, and application development and testing.

Using our proprietary method, Assert, we worked with the Steering Committee to create an environment of business accountability and focus on value.

$13B provider of innovative products and services for network computing, operating across the globe needed simpler customer engagement and reduced operating cost.

Program of 800 team members, led by CFO, EVP Manufacturing, CIO, EVP Sales and Service to conduct global Oracle-based ERP transformation including Demand to Delivery through Order Fulfillment, Customer Support, Accounting, and Business Intelligence.

Inflective was engaged to help lead the program across all areas process redesign, data readiness and migration through change management. The program struggled to engage and mobilize business stakeholders to embrace ownership of the new solution resulting in schedule, quality, and cost pressures. Daily burn peeked at $1 million/day. Impacted about 40k users globally.

Co-lead program with Oracle VP, IT VP, and Big four Partner. This included planning, issue resolution, development, testing, training etc. Introduced Assert method to guide and mobilize business stakeholders to embrace their accountabilities and accelerate business readiness, ownership and adoption.

Mobilized stakeholders to accelerate delivery and acceptance by 90 days. Oracle later acquired Sun Microsystems.
